Steve spent nearly a decade working as an engineer before pursuing his passion for helping people meet their financial goals. In 1993, he founded an independent advisory firm with a client-first approach to financial planning before joining forces with Atlas Financial. As a member of the National Association of Financial Planners (NAPFA), Steve advocates for ethical financial planning practices and supports the development of aspiring advisors, serving as Chair of the National Board from 2018-2019. As a financial planner, Steve focuses on the unique needs of executives, professionals, and business owners in solving their financial challenges and goals.




Outside of finance, Steve can be found behind the lens of a camera, cooking for his family or at his karate gym (black belt, Shotokan). Steve is married and has a 22-year-old daughter who just graduated from John Hopkins University with a Masters Degree and enjoys romping with his 2 dogs.
