With extensive experience and a focus on integrity and client accountability, Bob has over two decades of experience as a professional financial advisor. He began his advising career with American Express Financial Advisors in 1998 before going independent in 2005 with the goal of having more personal interaction with his clients and offering a fully independent, comprehensive strategy. Bob then founded Rock House Financial in 2007 before joining forces with Wealth Enhancement in 2024. 

Before his career in financial advising, Bob had already led a privately held software company and built and sold his first business. As a result, he offers a uniquely experienced perspective to his clientele, many of whom are self-made entrepreneurs. 

To remain technically proficient, Bob pushes himself and his staff to use the most current investment tools and resources available, continually adding to his education with professional course work and independent study. Bob completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification in 2001 and is an active member of the Financial Planning Association. Bob also works as an adjunct instructor of finance at the University of Utah, and his technical experience is relied upon in a wide range of situations. 

Bob is equally committed to his family and civic duties, enjoying volunteering his time for his community. He stays active, recently running a 50-mile ultra marathon to commemorate turning 50 years old, and hiking with his wife Julie. Bob is also passionate about the arts and currently sings with the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square and has raised his voice as a choir member of the Utah Chamber Artists and Utah Symphony Chorus. He and Julie are the parents of five children.
