Jake became part of the Wealth Enhancement Group organization via a merger with Kings Point Capital in 2022. After joining the Kings Point Capital team in 2009, he ultimately achieved partnership in the firm and now currently serves as one of the team’s managing directors.
Jake’s time is spent primarily on designing and managing portfolios for a select group of high-net-worth families, family offices, private foundations, and endowments. He places heavy emphasis upon a highly customized approach to ensure attention is given to each client’s unique circumstances, inclusive of goals, risk tolerance, preferences, and tax situation. Jake also spends much of his time advising clients on outside related financial matters and working closely with their CPAs and attorneys. He takes great pride in his accessibility and responsiveness and truly enjoys the client relationships he has built along the way.
Jake also serves the team’s investment committee on matters of stock selection as a voting member in addition to providing overarching guidance to the trading and fixed income efforts.
As a business school graduate with a concentration in finance from Emory University, Jake began his career of managing client portfolios in 1995 at Fidelity Investments. He facilitated the launch of Fidelity’s private client group and provided counsel to more than 300 families with assets in excess of $2 Billion.
Jake serves his community as Director on the Buck Hill Falls Community Services Board. This board is designed to support the health and welfare of individuals in need of support, food, housing, and safety in a county/township in Pennsylvania.
Finally, Jake and his wife Allison are the proud parents to two children, a daughter in high school and a son in college, in addition to a pair eternally hungry dogs. When not busy dutifully assisting the firm’s clients, cherishing time spent with family, and mentoring fellow employees, Jake does his best to keep his sense of humor on the golf course and tennis court.
