Jonathan Butters brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the wealth and asset management industry to his role as Chief Business Development Officer at Wealth Enhancement. His experience spans the RIA, asset management, and banking sectors, where he has been instrumental in developing organic growth strategies and leading high-performing teams. In his current role, Jonathan leads the Custodial Referral Program (CRP) sales team and drives business results within custodial referral programs.

Prior to joining Wealth Enhancement, Jonathan served as Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager at Mariner Wealth Advisors where he led the firm’s organic growth strategy.

Jonathan graduated from Kansas State University and has completed the educational requirements for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner designation. His industry involvement includes active participation in various financial roundtable forums and sales management events.

In addition to his professional achievements, Jonathan is committed to community service, having served on several boards and leadership programs in the Kansas City area. He has been actively involved with the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, Kansas City Police Department, Ronald McDonald House, among others.

Jonathan resides in Kansas City with his wife and two daughters. Outside the office, Jonathan enjoys being a chauffeur, cheering from the sidelines, and when possible, skiing & hiking.
